Lil Nas X hasn’t been on the music scene for long, but he’s still earned his chops as a performer for live shows. His first recorded concerts were held in 2019 across multiple of the best US venues and live concert events. For instance, Lil Nas X was invited to perform at the Adult Swim Festival in Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on November 16, 2019. These shows gave the artist the initial boost that he needed after the meteoric success of his single “Old Town Road”.

But the 2020 year only saw one concert performance played as the artist had to cancel dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But that singular performance was an important one as he was invited to perform at the 2020 Grammy Awards alongside many of today’s hottest artists.

2021 saw Lil Nas X return to form with 12 concerts played, including several appearances at major events and award ceremonies. This includes his performance at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for hte Iheart Radio Awards in late May 2021 as well as his appearance at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards at the BArclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on September 12, 2021.

2022 has been Lil Nas X’s busiest year with 37 concerts played and planned for the year, including the Long Live Montero Tour which is a currently ongoing debut concert tour by the artist in support of his 2021 album, Montero. The tour has dates across North American and Europe that began on September 6, 2022. The tour will also feature an exclusive show located at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, on January 4, 2023
